My Photography philosophy

Making couples feel comfortable in front of the camera and capturing genuine connection is what I’m most passionate about as a photographer! I help my clients feel natural when I’m taking their photos, not like they’re posing for some stuffy portraits! And, I love to show couples (and their wedding parties) having FUN! I want every couple I work with to be able to look back at their photos as one of the most valuable investments of their wedding day.

While shooting weddings, I’m hands-on—there to fluff the dress, ensure your photos are on track with your wedding day timeline, and make sure you look and feel your best!

In my editing style, I take a timeless approach, keeping colors true to life.

The Process

When you hire me as your wedding photographer, I work to make your photography experience as seamless as possible! Leading up to your wedding, I’ll check in with phone calls and texts to make sure you know I’m excited, prepared, and ready to have the best day ever with you!

Here’s what working with me looks like from start to finish.

Get in touch! Send an inquiry through the contact page on my website.

You’ll receive an email from me that shares my full pricing and package options so you can determine which one is the best fit for your wedding day!

We can hop on a call to discuss the specific needs of your wedding and make sure working together will be a great fit!
04.

Once you sign the contract and pay the retainer fee, your wedding day will be on my calendar and I’ll be counting down the days until your big day!!
05.

Let the fun begin! All my wedding packages include an engagement session. We’ll schedule and then shoot your engagement photos, which we can use as a chance to get to know each other better and obsess over your wedding day plans!
06.

A few months before the wedding, I’ll send you my wedding questionnaire, and we’ll have a call, video chat, or coffee date to go over the photo timeline for the wedding day.
07.

The BIG DAY! On your wedding day, I’ll be there, capturing all the important moments, big and small—including the ones you don’t even get to see!
08.

I’ll deliver a sneak peek gallery one to two days after the wedding so you can relive key moments and get a taste of what’s to come!
09.

You’ll receive the full gallery to treasure forever in six to eight weeks!

Meet Morgan Hayes

Hey there! I’m Morgan! I began my career as a wedding photographer in a bit of a roundabout way, but I couldn’t be more thankful that this is my path! After college, I began a typical 9-5 office job, and I knew right away that it wasn’t for me.

I knew I needed a creative outlet! I bought my first camera on a whim, begged my friends to let me photograph them, and quickly decided I never wanted to do anything other than photography as a career. And thus, Morgan Hayes Photos was born.

Since then, I’ve photographed over 75 weddings and elopements and too many couples/engagements sessions to count! The feeling I get after connecting with a couple and seeing their genuine love for each other shine through my lens is indescribable.

When I'm not shooting, editing, or traveling, you can probably find me spending time with my family and friends, blaring Taylor Swift at full volume around my house, at a Mexican restaurant with a margarita in hand, or on the couch watching a true crime doc.
